The overseas service was founded in 1964. 
Since then it has been introducing Mongolia 
to the rest of the world. 
  Today the service is transmitting its 
broad-casts under the name "The Voice Of 
Mongolia" in the Mongolian, English, 
Chinese, Russian and Japanese languages and 
is receiving letters and responses from its 
listeners in Asia, Europe, Australia and 
the American continent. Various types of 
interviews, features and documentaries on 
over 20 topics such as:
     
     - Politics and economics of Mongolia
     - Mongolian culture
     - Industry
     - Mongolian lifestyle and the people
     - History and tradition
     - Nature, flora and fauna
 
can be heard on the Voice Of Mongolia.

  The Voice Of Mongolia transmits a half-hour 
programmes on a daily basis in each of the 
above mentioned languages.
