Ambassador of Japan to Mongolia and Asian Regional Manager of the International Programs of Save the Children Japan signed the grant project agreement "Promoting holistic and inclusive developmental support in early childhood in Mongolia" at the Embassy of Japan in Mongolia on March 25, savethechildren.mn reports. Save the Children Japan, together with Japanese NGOs, has been implementing a project in Mongolia for three years, providing support for children to have equal educational opportunities. The goal of this project is to identify developmental problems in young children as early as possible, offer them holistic support and needs-based intervention. Target places are two main districts of Ulaanbaatar city as well as western two provinces of Mongolia. "Save the Children will use the accomplishment and expertise gained in the field of education, social work, and health in Mongolia to promote the development of children with disabilities. Our goal is to create a reliable and efficient local system to provide support for children from an early age," Asian Regional Manager of Save the Children Japan said. The project will run from March 30, 2024 to March 29, 2025 and will be funded for $620,302.
