Mongolia and China Begin Joint Sports Complex Project
Construction of the “President” Sports Complex, named after the heads of state of Mongolia and China, has officially begun.
Construction has officially begun on the “President” Sports Complex, a joint project named after the heads of state of Mongolia and China.
The complex is being developed to expand opportunities for children, young people and the public to participate in sports, while supporting athlete training and strengthening sports cooperation between the two countries.
The facility will be built in a green recreational area east of the Dunjingarav Shopping Center and in the northern part of the National Garden Park.
Covering more than 58,000 square meters, the complex will feature facilities for 19 sports, including basketball, volleyball, football, swimming, tennis, boxing, wrestling, fencing, archery, fitness and yoga.
The complex is expected to accommodate up to 6,000 children and young people for daily sports activities, with a total service capacity of up to 10,000 people.
The project is also intended to serve as a long-term facility promoting friendship, mutual understanding and cooperation between the peoples of Mongolia and China.
