Embassy of Mongolia in Washington promoted national culture and history to American students. The Embassy had the 6th grade students of McKinley STEM Middle School and shared with them Mongolian culture and history. The students shared what they have learned about Mongolia under the Social Studies curriculum during the academic year of 2015-2016. The students played a “Family-feud” style game to show the different facts they learned about Mongolia. The Mongolian Ambassador praised the students for their knowledge about Mongolia and noted that the cultural relationship is vital to deepen the person-to-person ties and to strengthen the friendly relationship between the two countries. The American students enjoyed Mongolian cuisine and the performance of the traditional Mongolian instrument the Horse-headed-fiddle. In June the students will represent Mongolia at the Model UN.
