Meat export of Mongolia expected to be exported
All livestock will be registered providing guarantee for origin and hygiene of livestock and quality certificate to export livestock and meat
“Laws on livestock health and on Livestock gene pool” has been adopted by the Mongolian Parliament. Implementation of the laws is considered to provide basic condition to increase export of the animal husbandry sector through improving breed of livestock, increasing productivity and confirming its origin. According to the law, all livestock will be registered providing guarantee for origin and hygiene of livestock and quality certificate to export livestock and meat. In addition, each sub-province will have a professional zoologist and adhere to the policy to raise the cattle with economic purpose. The herder families will be registered as producers in the animal husbandry sector. The laws will enter into force from June 1, 2018.
