COVID-19: 21 new cases detected
It was reported during today’s press briefing of the Ministry of Health that 21 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed after 18,487 tests were performed nationwide yesterday.
The new cases were all recorded in Ulaanbaatar city. The newly confirmed cases include four people from a cluster of Achtan hospital, six workers of Urban Development and Service Company, six people from extended testing, and the rest were the close contacts of the previously confirmed cases. No new infections were reported in other provinces in the past 24 hours.
Therefore, the number of COVID-19 cases in Mongolia reached 1,512 with 909 recoveries.
