This autumn, Mongolia is expected to harvest 501 thousand tonnes of crops. This can be broken downs as: 174.7 thousand tonnes of potatoes, 117.5 thousand of other vegetables, 32.5 thousand tonnes of plant oils and 43.4 thousand tonnes of forage crops for cattle. Nearly 320 thousand tonnes of wheat can provide Mongolian annual flour demand. Therefore, Mongolia will not have to import flour as a result of of this year’s anticipated harvest.
