Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Ts.Munkh-Orgil is taking part in the 23rd Meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). Mongolia’s Foreign Minister noted that the new cabinet formed as a result of the 2016 parliamentary elections has been carrying out an open and multi-pillared foreign policy, with special accents on deepening the strategic partnerships and boosting economic ties with the two neighbors. Mongolia has been attaching great significance to intensifying cooperation with Japan, USA, India, South Korea and European Union in the margin of the “third neighbor” policy. Mr. Minister also confirmed the nation’s commitment to broaden ties with OSCE and other regional organizations. The Foreign Minister of Mongolia highlighted consolidating the security cooperation for settling the regional conflicts and crises by peaceful means in these times of rapid global development, and singled out the importance of building OSCE’s capacity for safeguarding economic and human securities.
