Mongolia chairs 25th Council Session of IDEA. Mongolia has successfully chaired the Council of the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance in 2016. During its’ Presidency of the Council of IDEA, Mongolia has expanded significantly the Council’s activities, enhanced its memberships, hosted various international events with participation of prominent politicians and dignitaries and resolved an issue of founding a training center for election observers in Ulaanbaatar. Mongolia joined IDEA in 2011.
