Mongolia considers appointing defense attache to Turkey. The matter was discussed at the meeting between the State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense and the Defense Attache of the Republic of Turkey to Mongolia. Colonel Kh.Batbileg conveyed heartfelt gratitude to the Turkish Government and the Ministry of Defense for consistent support to and aids in Mongolia’s military reforms and he noted that the Mongolian side is studying deployment of a defense attache to Turkey. It is expected to intensify the progress in the military cooperation between the two countries at a stable pace. Mongolia and Turkey established friendly relations in the defense sphere in 1999, and have been maintaining sustainability in the cooperation.
