Mongolia shuts down some diplomatic missions temporarily
Embassies of Mongolia in Indonesia and Brazil, and Consulates General in Osaka of Japan and Hailar of China will be temporarily shut down within the first half of this year until the economic conditions of Mongolia improve.

Embassies of Mongolia in Indonesia and Brazil, and Consulates General in Osaka of Japan and Hailar of China will be temporarily shut down within the first half of this year until the economic conditions of Mongolia improve. In a press release, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated the decision will not affect Mongolia’s political ties and other relations with these countries. Mongolian diplomatic missions will re-open after the current budget and economic conditions improve.
