A ceremony is held in the Government House to greet foreign diplomatic missions in Mongolia ahead of the upcoming Tsagaan Sar celebration on February 27th. On behalf of the foreign diplomatic missions, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Mr. Kalybek Koblandin briefly touched upon the highlights of 2016, including the General Parliamentary Elections, Mongolia’s presence in UN Human Rights Council, Mongolia’s hosting of the ASEM Summit, the active participation in UN peacekeeping missions, Mongolia’s ratification of Trade Facilitation Agreement and Ulaanbaatar dialogue - 2016. He also appreciated the expansion of foreign diplomatic missions in Mongolia with the Embassies of Australia, the United Arab Emirates and Italy, and said that this year will see the opening of the representative offices of Poland, Saudi Arabia and the European Union.
