Not less than 10 percent of the plant’s shares will be owned by the Government of Mongolia.
Copper concentrate plant to be built in Umnugobi. Not less than 10 percent of the plant’s shares will be owned by the Government of Mongolia. The government will investigate possibilities to comply the works of Oyu Tolgoi concentrator, Tavan Tolgoi coal washing plant, Tavan Tolgoi power plant and the new copper concentrate plant with several other projects in the area. The Khanbogd copper concentrate plant is located next to Oyu Tolgoi mine. It will have an annual capacity to process 1 million tons of concentrate, and is planned to be inaugurated in 2020.
