Mongolia and Kuwait work to accelerate bilateral collaboration. The first meeting of Mongolia-Kuwait Intergovernmental Commission will be held in Kuwait city late in May and consider some important bilateral cooperation issues, determine future perspectives and discuss some investment and collaborative projects. An agreement on the construction of a National Burn Treatment Center in Ulaanbaatar will be established. The construction would be financed by a non-refundable aid of the Government of Kuwait. Mongolia also seeks to establish an agreement with Kuwait on the construction of an asphalt pavement of Undurkhaan airport runway in eastern Khentii province. Other documents to be signed include a protocol on sanitary requirements for meat export to Kuwait and a memorandum of understanding between the standardization organizations of the two countries.
