The Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ plans to ship three haul trucks worth nearly $3 million for a Mongolian company before the end of the year. BelAZ was visited by a delegation of Mongolia's Erdenet Mining Corporation. The visit resulted in a signing of an agreement on cooperation in maintenance and further supplies. The parties agreed on a strategic partnership which also covers some organizational issues regarding vehicle maintenance. Erdenet Mining Corporation is one of the biggest ore mining and ore processing factory in Asia. It is a long-time partner of the Belarusian manufacturer. The fleet of vehicles of the Mongolian company consists mainly of BelAZ haul trucks with the payload capacity of 30, 45, 55 and 130 tons and also special-purpose mining equipment.
