Chinese Chinalco Company wants to expand cooperation with Mongolia. Prime Minister of Mongolia J.Erdenebat received delegates of Chinalco Company, the People’s Republic of China led by the company Vice President Lu Dongliang. Vice president Lu Dongliang said that Chinalco has interest in taking part in Tavantolgoi and Oyutolgoi projects, their construction works as well as road construction and other infrastructure projects including building road from Tavan Tolgoi to the border checkpoint. PM J.Erdenebat expressed the Government’s position to pursue a policy in future to export Tavan Tolgoi coal and Oyu Tolgoi copper after processing them. The PM noted that Chinalco Company can participate in infrastructure development and mining projects in the southern Gobi under this policy and other relevant laws and regulations.
