Mongolia to cooperate with France in improving livestock breed
Minister B.Batzorig expressed Mongolia’s willingness to cooperate with France in improving livestock breeds and introducing Mongolian cashmere to global market.
Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry B.Batzorig met high officials of French Embassy to Mongolia. The agricultural cooperation between the countries has been intensifying in recent years, particularly in the fields of intensive animal husbandry, neutralizing technologies for meat and milk farms and importing livestock from France, and aiming at improving Mongolian livestock breeds. B.Batzorig expressed Mongolia’s willingness to cooperate with France in improving livestock breeds and introducing Mongolian cashmere to the global market. He also said Mongolia wants to collaborate with French companies of agricultural facilities, and then asked the French side to pay attention on realizing a joint program and project to purchase facilities with discounts. The French export of breeding cattle to Mongolia through Russia has suspended due to some requirements for hygiene documents.
