Mongolia’s MobiCom launches LTE-A

MobiCom, world-class information technology and communications services provider in Mongolia has launched its first LTE-A (Advanced) services. The fastest-world standard in mobile data, LTE-A speeds of up to 225Mbps /megabit per second/ and are available to 4G customers of two cities. MobiCom is Mongolia’s largest network company by subscribers, with around 38% of the wireless market. It was established as a joint Mongolian-Japanese venture in 1996, to be the first Mongolian cell phone service. Mobicom introduced first 3G networking in Mongolia in 2009. In 2015, it introduced its 4G-LTE service with the maximum 200Mbps data transaction speed.
