Mongolia-Vietnam cooperation expands
Two parliament heads held official talks and signed a Memorandum on Cooperation between the Parliament of Mongolia and the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The Parliament Speaker Enkhbold is paying an official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at the invitation of Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân, Chairwoman of the National Assembly of Vietnam. Two parliament heads held official talks and signed a Memorandum on Cooperation between the Parliament of Mongolia and the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Enkhbold said that the two countries need to strengthen cooperation between legislative organizations, security, defense and legal organizations, to increase a frequency of meetings and talks, mutually share experiences, improve skills of the staff. Furthermore, the sides jointly conduct scientific and research works and involve Vietnamese military troops in the multinational peacekeeping operations exercise ‘Khaan Quest’. Chairwoman of the National Assembly emphasized an importance of regularizing high-level visits and talks between ministries and agencies and organizing political consultative meeting between foreign affairs ministries. Emphasizing on Vietnam-Mongolia friendship group functioning at the National Assembly, Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan remarked that developing constant relation and cooperation between members, authorities, standing committees and friendship groups of two parliaments will give a significant influence on bilateral relations of legislative bodies.
