Future prospect of gold mining sector to be discussed. A forum titled ‘Mongolia gold - 2018’ will be organized at the Corporate Convention Center in March. To be organized by the Mongolian United Gold Association, the forum will focus on future prospect of gold mining sector, technical solution in deposit and opportunities to make investment. The following topic will be discussed during the forum such as developing geological research of Mongolian gold, attracting investors, introducing advanced technique and technologies and experiences. Additionally, solutions of research and mining area rehabilitation will be touched. Within the forum, organizers have set aims to fulfill participation of state, private and professional organizations to realize the campaign ‘Gold-2’ and reach a solution to cooperate. In addition, the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry is working on building a gold refining plant with a capacity of 30 tons in the frame of the campaign ‘Gold-2’.
