Minerals Law amendments consulted. The Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry held consultations on proposed amendments to the Minerals Law. The Minerals Law is main part of legislation regulating the mining sector. The ministry says that amendments to the Minerals Law have been developed to eradicate legal gaps, overlaps, and violations. Articles in the amendments include changes to the regulations on environmental impact assessments, petroleum and petroleum products and so on.
