Ulaanbaatar and Seoul to cooperate in housing projects

Governor of capital city Batbold.S discussed to implement housing projects with outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Korea U Sung. As governor Batbold.S mentioned at the meeting, Seoul is making a concrete contribution to the cooperation between the two countries by collaborating with the State Housing Corporation in the frames of activities to reduce air pollution of Ulaanbaatar city and conducting a research on implementing apartment project. For instance, the “Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation”, a local public enterprise, founded by Seoul Metropolitan Government is said to be interested in cooperating with Ulaanbaatar city. Accordingly, Ulaanbaatar city is expanding its brotherhood relations and cooperation with over 40 cities of the world among which brotherhood relations with Seoul city since 1995.
