Road and Transport Minister meets with Ambassador of Vietnam
Minister of Road and Transport Development Mr. Enkh-Amgalan met with Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Mongolia Ms.
Minister of Road and Transport Development Mr. Enkh-Amgalan met with Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Mongolia Ms. Doan Thi Huong, exchanging opinions on bilateral cooperation in the sectors of air, rail, road and sea transport. Minister of Road and Transport Development pointed out there is a necessity to pay attention on creating conditions for visa free travel to ordinary passport holders of Mongolia in order to increase the number of passengers to Vietnam if the two countries open direct flight between Ulaanbaatar and Hanoi. Ambassador Ms. Doan Thi Huong also expressed interest to launch rail transport cooperation of the two countries and requested the Road and Transport Minister to study possibilities of expanding railroad network that will pass through Mongolia-China-Vietnam.
