Foreign Ministers of Mongolia and Qatar hold phone conversation

On December 15, Minister of Foreign Affairs N.Enkhtaivan held a phone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, exchanging views on bilateral relations and cooperation matters.
Noting that friendly relations between Mongolia and Qatar have been expanding and developing, Minister N.Enkhtaivan underlined the importance of mutual support for overcoming challenges and difficulties faced globally due to the coronavirus pandemic. Moreover, the Minister expressed gratitude to the Qatari side for the donation of medical equipment and items worth USD 150,000 for Mongolia’s efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
The Qatari Minister expressed his intent for further development of bilateral cooperation and realizing high-level reciprocal visits.
