U.S. Deputy Secretary Sherman to visit Mongolia
United States Deputy Secretary of State Wendy R. Sherman will pay a visit to Mongolia between July 23 and 25.
United States Deputy Secretary of State Wendy R. Sherman will pay a visit to Mongolia between July 23 and 25. During her visit, Wendy R. Sherman will pay a courtesy call on Speaker of the State Great Khural of Mongolia G.Zandanshatar and meet with officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Defense and General Staff of the Mongolian Armed Forces. Deputy Foreign Minister of Mongolia B.Munkhjin will hold a meeting with the U.S. Deputy Secretary of State, during which the U.S. will be reaffirmed as a third neighbor and strategic partner of Mongolia. Both sides will also exchange views about issues concerning the issues on strengthening the friendly bilateral relations between the two nations, maintaining of high level talks, broadening the political, economic, education, culture and humanitarian cooperation as well as regional and international matters of mutual concern. The U.S. delegates headed will also meet with Mongolia’s peacekeeping officers returned from missions in Afghanistan and media representatives.
