Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Munkhjin on March 24 held a virtual meeting with Minister of State for Asia and the Middle East of the United Kingdom Amanda Milling. During the meeting, the sides exchanged discussed the Mongolia-UK relations and cooperation and exchanged views on upcoming visits and events. The establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the United Kingdom in 1963 was an important step in the process of gaining full recognition of Mongolia in the international arena. Britain was the first among Western developed nations to establish diplomatic relations with Mongolia giving a significant impetus to enhancing Mongolia’s prestige in the international community.
