"Ulaanbaatar Declaration" Issued at the 7th Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentarian Forum
The Seventh Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentarian Forum (APPF) on Global Health under the theme "Building Primary Health Care for the Future" was successfully completed
The Seventh Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentarian Forum (APPF) on Global Health under the theme "Building Primary Health Care for the Future" was successfully completed in Ulaanbaatar on August 23. More than 70 representatives, including members of parliament, ministers of health from 15 countries, as well as officials from the World Health Organization (WHO) participated in the Meeting co-organized by the State Great Khural of Mongolia, the (WHO), and the Ministry of Health of Mongolia. As an outcome of the Seventh Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentarian Forum, the "Ulaanbaatar Declaration" was issued. The participants emphasized that the "Ulaanbaatar Declaration" is significant for strengthening and developing the primary health care and services that guarantee human rights by valuing human well-being, not only at the regional level but also at the international level.
