Mongolian Foreign Minister Meets Czech Minister of Labour and Social Affairs
On October 31 or this Tuesday, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic Marian Jurečka.
On October 31 or this Tuesday, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic Marian Jurečka, who is on an Official Visit to Mongolia this week. Previously, in May of this year, the Foreign Minister of Mongolia Battsetseg paid an Official Visit to the Czech Republic and met with Deputy Prime Minister Marian Jurecka in Prague, the capital city of Czechia. The two Ministers noted that the agreements reached during the Visit are being implemented and are producing concrete results. Recognizing the growing cooperation between the two countries in education and social protection, the two Ministers emphasized that starting in the 2023-2024 academic year, 30-60 Mongolian students will have the opportunity to study at leading Czech universities under the President's Scholar-2100 scholarship program. The two sides also affirmed that the Intergovernmental Agreement on Social Security has been successfully implemented. At the Meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enrich the traditional friendly cooperation between Mongolia and the Czech Republic with trade and economic content, increase investment, jointly implement large-scale development projects, and further strengthen people-to-people ties. The Ministers emphasized the importance of the Meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of the two countries in advancing the cooperation. During his Visit, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic participated in the 8th Meeting of the Mongolia-Czechia Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation and Mongolian-Czech Business Forum.
