National brands promoted. Mongolian scholar, who developed horse-bone calcium supplement, was granted US$ 50 thousand technological advancement prize for his achievement and further works. The award is granted every two years. Mongolian invents calcium supplement from horse-bone. The calcium supplement is made of horse bones with its biological values as secondary raw material. According to results of scientific observations, the horse-bone calcium supplement has three times greater efficiency than other products of the same type, in terms of preventing osteoporosis and bone remediation. The calcium supplement is recognized as one of the top national brands which substitute import and target at export. Mongolia produced horse-bone calcium is exported to South Korea.
