Mongolia will be fully connected by paved road by 2017. According to the government plan, centers of all 21 provinces will be connected with the capital city by paved road. The 2016 state budget allows for the funding of 22 road construction projects with domestic investment, and eight with investment from the Asian Development Bank, the German Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Kuwait Fund, and a soft loan from China. The construction of seven bridges will be finished this year. Constructing roads in remote provinces would bring more income through tourism as the infrastructure is one of the issues that slow the development of the tourism sector, and also the remote parts of Mongolia posses the most beautiful natural aspects.
