Ulaanbaatar citizens have easier rides. Mongolian-made Easyride application provides opportunities to travel around the city easier. EasyRide is a ride sourcing platform which connects passengers and drivers through the internet. The service was launched in November 2015. The application owners, a group of young Mongolian professionals with experience in different industries, aim to improve urban mobility through technology and assist UB municipality in building a SMART city. The EasyRide is growing at a steady pace and it currently has more than 10,000 users. It is hoped to successfully connect more than 100,000 people in the next six months.
