Mongolian parliamentarian is awarded high French order. Mongolian parliamentarian Mrs. Oyungerel is presented the Chevalier or Knight badge of the Order of Arts and Letters of France in recognition of her significant contributions to the literature. The French Government appreciated Oyungerel’s achievement in fostering cultural cooperation between Mongolia and France while working as the Mongolian Minister of Sports and Culture. Mrs. Oyungerel’s efforts for and participation in abolishing the death penalty is also very much appreciated.
