Parliamentary elections scheduled for June 29. Mongolian parliament adopted a bill amending the law on organizing regular elections to the Parliament and local councils of the capital city and provinces. A revised version of the Law on Elections indicated to run parliamentary elections by proportional system by 48:28 for Parliament’s 76 seats. The revised law also calls for reducing election campaign expenditures and allowing candidates to post promotion materials and posters on billboards along streets and squares for free in order to save public funds. The voting procedure for Mongolian citizens abroad will run from June 17-19 in the country's embassies and consulates.
