Military exercise to be expanded.

Military exercise to be expanded. An annual “Khan Quest” international military training exercise will be hosted by the Mongolian Armed Forces and sponsored by the U.S. Army Pacific. The exercise is designed to enhance international interoperability and military readiness, develop peacekeeping capabilities, and build military-to-military relations between Mongolia, the U.S. and other international forces in the Pacific region. This year, troops from 47 countries will participate in the exercise.  This year’s Khan Quest will consist of a command post exercise and field training exercise. During the events, Mongolian and multinational forces will work to enhance regional interoperability, and mission effectiveness, as well as develop common tactics, techniques and procedures.
