Mongolia cooperates with Hong Kong in law enforcement.
Mongolia cooperates with Hong Kong in law enforcement. Mongolia established an extradition treaty with Hong Kong. It enables law enforcement agencies of Mongolia and Hong Kong to collaborate on investigation, litigation and prosecution of criminal cases. Under the extradition treaty, the Mongolian citizens sentenced to imprisonment and being imprisoned in Hong Kong would be transferred to Mongolia to continue their sentence back in the country. Currently, 21 Mongolian citizens are imprisoned in Hong Kong.
