Mongolia produces eco-friendly mining items. SM Container Bag Company produces heavy duty bags, packages, and containers for household use and for the mining industry. The company has the capacity to manufacture 240,000 heavy-duty bags annually. It is an eco-friendly facility which recycles water and creates minimal waste. Since 2005, the company has been providing Erdenet Copper and Molybdenum Corporation with 3 to 3.5 ton heavy-duty bags for copper concentrate. In 2013, it started cooperating with Oyu Tolgoi gold and copper mine. The company aims to fully meet the local demand and export its products in future.
