Mongolia and Cambodia are to open air route. Mongolia signed a bilateral air service agreement with Cambodia that could pave the way for direct flights and increased tourist traffic between the two countries, and open up opportunities for investment. The agreement would also attract more Mongolian tourists to visit Angkor Wat and Cambodian beaches, as Mongolia has no coastline. The number of Mongolians visiting Cambodia remains extremely low, with less than 500 people visiting the Kingdom last year and the number of tourists of the two countries is believed to increase with the signing of the bilateral air service agreement.
