Youth volunteering for ASEM summit is promoted.
Youth volunteering for ASEM summit is promoted. Some 1500 volunteering youths, students from some 20 universities and representatives of children's organizations are signed up for providing volunteer services for the upcoming 11th ASEM and its side events in July. The volunteers will be provided with "Basic Training" course including on generic knowledge on ASEM operation, volunteering works, and on team work. Basic training will be followed by orientation training on international relations & diplomacy, diplomatic protocols, ceremony and requirements for volunteers etc.
