Mongolia has so far got 23 athletes to compete for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Mongolia has so far got 23 athletes to compete for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Mongolia’s Olympic qualifications are gained in free style wrestling, boxing, archery, shooting, marathon, Taekwondo and weight lifting. The most number of Olympic qualifications or 9 qualifications are won in free style wrestling. Also, Mongolia has got four athletes to compete for Paralympics in para archery, shooting, track and field events and power lifting. Mongolia hopes to win more qualifications from Olympic Games World Qualifying Tournaments to be held in coming more than three months prior to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
