Mongolia won one more Rio Olympic qualification in weightlifting.
Mongolia won one more Rio Olympic qualification in weightlifting. It’s M.Ankhtsetseg who became the very first Mongolian woman to win a gold medal in the Weightlifting Asian Championships. Athlete Ankhtsetseg Monkhjantsan has been engaged in weightlifting for eight years now. She has set national records 69 times in junior, youths and senior divisions. She gained the title of international master of sports in 2011. So far, Mongolia has got 24 athletes to compete for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Mongolia’s Olympic qualifications are gained in free style wrestling, boxing, archery, shooting, marathon, Taekwondo and weight lifting.
