State Morin Khuur Ensemble of Mongolia staged a concert in the National Grand Theater of China. The performance was organized in partnership with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of China in the scope of concert series “World’s music expo-Asian best music”. Morin Khuur Ensemble which is in its 23rd year is composed of the Morin Khuur traditional musical instrument exclusively. The instrument is referred to as the "horse headed fiddle" and has only 2 strings and yet capable of producing many different melodies and sounds.
