German citizen by the name of Fabian Andy Deutsch was arrested for attempting to smuggle the fossil remains an unknown creature by air from Ulaanbaatar to Beijing.
German citizen by the name of Fabian Andy Deutsch was arrested for attempting to smuggle the fossil remains an unknown creature by air from Ulaanbaatar to Beijing. There have been detected and confiscated five fossilized bones, which weighed 3.65 kg and did not have any accompanying documentation. The Paleontology and Geology Institute at the Academy of Sciences has confirmed the fossils as those of dinosaurs. The initial report on the case states that it is essential to find out who Mr Deutsch got the bones from. The case has been transferred to the Police Department at the Civil Aviation.
