Splendor of Mongolian soldier held
Annual “Splendor of Mongolian soldier 2016” competition was held at central Chinghis square of Ulaanbaatar city.
Annual “Splendor of Mongolian soldier 2016” competition was held at central Chinghis square of Ulaanbaatar city. The event has been organized in the past four years to encourage initiatives to make healthier and safer the living and working conditions of servicemen. The competition is held in three stages to select the best army units demonstrating good hygienic condition and comfortable environment of military hospital and guard posts as well as good physical development of servicemen and military march. At the culmination of the competition the public enjoyed the demonstration show of participating army units, brass band performance, public waltz competition, performance of the military ensemble and the salute. The famous local rock band “Хурд” of “Speed” performed some of its hit songs about homeland and the army.
