Mongolia and Uzbekistan consider abolition of visas. Mongolia proposes signing an agreement on exemption of diplomatic and official passport holders from visa requirements within this year. The proposal was made by non-resident Ambassador of Mongolia at his meeting with the Director of Department of Asia and the Pacific of the Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The two men discussed the bilateral relations including the signing of agreements of cooperation in the agricultural, trade, economic, scientific, technological and tourism sectors.
