Mega cities partnership forum was held.
Mega cities partnership forum was held in Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar. The forum was attended by more than 20 representatives of Calgary, Paris, Yokohama, Hanoi and Edmonton. The world cities speakers shared considered possible cooperation in city planning and investigates possibilities of establishing partnership relations. The forum was part of the Ulaanbabatar city planning improvement project which has been implemented in the past two years by the Ulaanbaatar City Municipality in cooperation with the Asian Development Bank. The project aims to work out a master and sub plan of Ulaanbaatar city with the main focus on public participation and effective organizational structure. Other goals also include improving city planning skills, creating city planning database and improving city planning software.
