Winter preparations considered. The State Emergency Commission heard reports on winter preparations and the present state in the food, agriculture, transport, road and energy sectors. Mongolia needs to prepare 1.2 million tons of hay and 100 thousand tons of fodder in preparation for the upcoming winter. As of today, 284 thousand tons of hay has been prepared. For emergency reserves, 32 thousand tons of hay and 13 thousand tons of fodder should be stored. Relevant government agencies have been instructed to take required actions for the winter preparations in the energy, road, transportation sectors, and for preventing animal diseases and reserving fuel.
