UNICEF Mongolia introduces future objectives of cooperation with local government. Speaker of the State Great Khural Enkhbold received Permanent Representative of the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Mongolia Roberto Benes. Mr. Roberto introduced the main objectives of UNICEF for cooperation with Mongolia for the next five years and expressed interest in collaborating with the related Government agencies and the Parliament in improving the child protection system, reducing air pollution, and ensuring equality among the population, as well as a broad range of other issues. Mr. Speaker told to attach more importance to coordinating the UNICEF’s proposals with the country’s social and economic circumstances.
