Cell phones use to be banned at school. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports issued a decree on banning use of cellphones by teachers and students during lessons of general educational schools. The ordinance will take effect on October 1. Similar regulation was practiced in the general educational schools of some districts of the capital city Ulaanbaatar in accordance with a decision of the Citizens’ Representatives Khural. Results of the latest scientific studies show that the growing use of smart phones affects physiological and social health of humanity.The Ministryof Education, Culture, Science and Sports has submitted official notices on implementation of the decree to all private and public general education schools.
