Ten Mongolian organizations are granted Australian aid. Australian Ambassador to Mongolia John Langtry awarded grants for 2016-2017 to ten local organizations selected under the Direct Aid Program (DAP). Each project will contribute towards development of Mongolia, and will be implemented in youth development, women empowerment, environment, public healthcare, poverty reduction, agriculture and governance improvement. The organizations will mainstream disability inclusion and gender to ensure the benefits of grants outreach equally all people.Since 2003, more than 100 Mongolian NGOs and organizations have implemented a total of 114 projects with DAP assistance.DAP is a good opportunity for Mongolian organizations, particularly civic and non-profits, to address social and environmental issues, believes Ambassador Langtry.
