American cello rock band ‘Break of Reality’ performed in collaboration with Mongolian State Morin Khuur Ensemble at the State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet last Friday. The concert, entitled “Sounds from East & West”, is part of the events marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the USA and Mongolia. With the invitation made from the U.S. Embassy, Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Arts Council of Mongolia, the cello rock band ‘Break of Reality’ is visiting Ulaanbaatar. During their visit to Mongolia from 22nd of January to 29thof January, the group has been organizing public concerts, interactive master classes and performances with local musicians, and jam sessions. The band also performed the “Sounds from East & West” concert free of charge to the orphan and disabled children, which took place on the Children’s Palace. The band has held sold out concerts across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
